The Humans in Agarithia

The Humans are originated in the Green Nose Territory. Their population increased rapidly and they soon expanded their dominion into what is now the Yellow Nation. The Humans have a very distinct culture from the Elves and the Eretis. Their gods are not humanoid, rather they worship nature. Their gods usually come in the shape of animals or stars. An act of nature is said to be a act of a god as a response to the actions of humans. Humans value at and music as long as it is tied to the gods in some way.

Humans are proud of their heritage and consider themselves blessed for their physical abilities. Unlike the Elves and the Eretis, humans do not have the ability to control the energy around them. In other words they are not magical. Because of this, Humans have a disadvantage in many things. Their accomplishments are all due to their hard work and dedication. They value these qualities as well as physical fitness. They are the hardiest race in Agarithia adn ahve endured longer than any of the others.

humans also have a unique type of intelligence that differs from the Elves’ and the Eretis’. Unlike the others, Humans have a very practical way of thinking. They are good at producing tools out of their environment to help them achieve tasks.

The clan is the central unit in Human culture. Clans are usually made up of two or three families that share a strong bond. In the Green Nose Territory, clans move together following their seasonal routes. In the Yellow Nation, Clans usually build their houses next to each other or at least in the same city.Husband and wife are untied for life through a ritual. The Elderly are cared for by their children. Children remain with their parents until they are old enough to marry. Marriage usually occurs at the age of 21 and is sometimes done out of love. In the Green Nose territory, most marriages are arrange as means to patch up relationships between two rival clans.

Today, their populations are mainly concentrated in the Green Nose Territory and the Yellow Nation. There are some scattered populations in the outskirts of the Golden Desert.
